Carson City Railroad and Nevada State Museums:  July 1, 2006 - January 31,2007
The Nevada State Museum,built in 1866 and was home to the U.S. Mint for over 20 years. Inside you'll experience a life-sized ghost town, a silver mine and the actual equipment used to stamp over 50 million dollars in gold and silver coins mined from the Comstock. Rated one of the 10 best regional museums in the West The Nevada State Railroad Museum is located at the south end of town with a great collection of restored historic Virginia and Truckee Railroad equipment. Rides on the railroad are offered on various weekends in the summer.

Brüka Theatre:  January - December, 2006
Bruka theatre is a performance art space located on the main strip in Reno. Over ten years old, Bruka started as a Children's theatre and has since grown to include many forms of performance art. Original plays, classic and contemporary plays, musicals, childrens plays and dance.

Carson City Kit Carson Trail:  July 1, 2006 - January 31,2007
A painted blue line and bronze medallions along the sidewalk mark the route, which features stops at landmarks, including 1800s-era Victorian-style homes, museums and churches.Celebrated locals of yesteryear are featured at historic stops through locally available AM radio broadcasts. Some of the "celebrities" include Mark Twain, Carson City founder Abe Curry, and Hannah Clapp, the town's original feminist.
